LOGGING

We perform quality, effective and responsible logging.

We perform the following works: preparing felling areas for operation, felling, delivering of timber, branch disposal and tidying of the felling area and access roads.

Felling area acquisition

Location survey is marking and measuring a certain forest area in situ for the purpose of obtaining a felling permit. Unfortunately, the inventory data at the disposal of the owner quite often do not correspond to the actual situation on site therefore it is very important to “read” the forest in order to create a felling area in line with both forestry and legal requirements.

Preparation for logging

This includes location survey, tree measuring (scaling) to determine the standing volume, undergrowth removal, construction or renewal of timber access roads and roadside landings. We perform all those works qualitatively and responsibly.

Felling of trees

We tidy up any access roads and ditches damaged by felling operations.

Skidding

Movement of logs to an approved roadside landing by employing relevant machinery in order to diminish damage to soil and access roads.

Felling area tidying

We tidy up any access roads and ditches damaged by felling operations.
